Septic emergency?

What counts as a septic emergency
  1. Stop using water

No laundry, dishwasher, showers or flushing. Every gallon goes into a system that can't drain.

  2. Keep people and pets away

Sewage carries bacteria. Stay clear of any wet spots in the yard or backed-up drains.

  3. Find your tank lids if you can

If you know where they are, clear snow or clutter off them. It saves time when we arrive.

Who you're calling

Real people, not a massive corporation

Ranch Country Outhouses was bought by a lifelong Oregon local at the start of 2023. Since then we've added services our customers asked for and kept one rule: by the time we leave, the problem is diagnosed and either fixed or actively being worked on.

You'll always know what's wrong, what we're doing about it, and what it costs.

More about us
“My septic got a clog late on a Friday night. Saturday morning I called and ranch country had their home septic driver on the way to me in less than an hour. They had a hydro jetter mounted on the truck and were able to get everything taken care of.”

“I had this company come pump a home septic tank and power snake a line for my elderly grandparents, they were very punctual, reasonable priced and great to work with! They were able to get my grandparents back up and running in no time, the driver was fantastic and explained the process and was incredibly helpful about making sure we were taken care of.”

“We bought an old fixer upper house and the tank was full of sludge and hadn’t been pumped for 15-20 years. Ranch country came out. They arrived right on the scheduled time and they had all the right tools in their truck to do the job right and quickly.”

FAQ

Septic questions we hear every week

Don't see your question? Call (541) 648-7114 and ask a real person.

How much does septic pumping cost in Central Oregon?

It depends on the tank size, how hard the lids are to reach, and how long it's been since the last pump. Call or send the quote form and we'll give you a free quote up front, so there are no surprises on the bill.

Do you really answer the phone at night?

Yes. Septic problems don't keep business hours, so we're on call 24 hours a day, 7 days a week for emergencies like sewage backing up into the house.

Do you work on homes and businesses?

Both. We handle residential septic systems, commercial properties, and job sites and events that need portable toilets.

Which towns do you cover?

We're based in Redmond and serve all of Central Oregon, including Prineville, Bend, Sisters, Madras, La Pine, Powell Butte and the areas in between.

How do I know it's time to pump my septic tank?

Slow drains, gurgling pipes, sewage smells, or soggy, extra-green grass over the drain field are common signs. Most household tanks need pumping every few years. Our free pumping-interval estimator gives you a number based on your own tank size and household.
